I HIGHLY recommend this book to young and old!. This book lets us see all of it through the eyes of someone who had so little. We take our freedoms and the abundance of food and other necessities here for granted. They need to be made to feel welcome, and helped to adjust, not laughed at and scorned as some of the students in the school in this book did. I don't think I'll ever look at the ESL students in our college the same way.
